Overview
- What will I see?
- A lot! After you’ve finished scrambling up mountains, dashing over waterfalls and traversing colossal landslides, you’ll wonder how you fit it all into just two days!
- On this tour, you will climb not one, but two mountains, meander through lush tunnels of rainforest, and spend a night out underneath the stars!

On Day 2, we will ride out of the valley in style on the World's Steepest Railway. It's a dramatic, and less physical end to the tour. If you have any concerns about this, you can also choose to hike out of the valley via the Fuber Stairs (45 mins approx).

What do I need?
- Not much to be honest. We’re pretty proud of the all-inclusive nature of our tours, and all you really need is a decent pair of walking shoes and some clothing.
- We don’t want you forking out $100’s for high-tech gear, which is why we provide all the life-saving essentials.
- We also have a series of hire gear available, if you’d like to have the best of the best!
What fitness level do I need?
- The Ruined Castle tour is our entry-level walk. We cover shorter distances each day, and both mountain climbs are optional, and only require a daypack (which is provided).
- In saying that, you are still expected to carry a backpack of approximately 10-14kgs in weight, and walk around 10kms.
- We highly recommend some pre-trip training, which will not only make your experience better but is also a great chance to just get fit and healthy.
- To provide you with the best ‘pre-trip’ training, we consulted one of Sydney’s leading Personal Trainers, to develop a custom program specifically targeting the key muscles and fitness requirements for this hike.
- It’s a combination of both HITT and strength training and will have you well on your way to success!
