- We will visit the area around Mt. Krn (2244 m) and the Krn lakes, the largest lake in the Julian Alps.

- Please wear warm, winter clothing.
- Put on your gloves, warm jacket, trousers, under layer, socks, winter boots, and hat.
Hotel Pick up
- In case you don't need a transfer, we will meet at the starting destination - near Kranjska Gora. From here, we will start our trip.
- We also provide return transfer covering Slovenia (€10-€60/person).
- In both cases, we will discuss the exact meeting point or pick up point after your non-binding inquiry.
- Optional pick up places:
- Ljubljana, Kranjska Gora, Bled, Tolmin, Bovec, etc.
- Basically any city in Slovenia.

Julian Alps
- The Julian Alps (Italian: Alpi Giulie) are the most extensive and highest mountain group in Slovenia.
- They are in the southern-eastern part of the Alps and are part of the Southern Limestone Alps.
- They cover an area of about 4400 km² (mostly in Slovenia, smaller part of them are also in Italy). The Alps lie in the area between the Sava Valley and the Kanalska Valley.
Snowshoeing is for Everyone
- Snowshoeing is suitable for everyone, even the youngest.
- We invite you and your family to go on a guided day or night snowshoeing and enjoy a fun snow walk for 4-6 hours.
- Seniors can also join the hike, as you can learn skills quickly while walking will not put a dangerous strain on your joints.

- Much of the July Alps are covered by the Triglav National Park (TNP), which is the only national park in Slovenia. It measures 83,982 hectares.
- Triglav National Park lies in the area of northwestern Slovenia.
- The nature in the park is really beautiful and mostly unspoiled.
- The park boasts beautiful rivers, valleys, plateaus and peaks in excess of 2000 m.
- With its 2864 m, Triglav is the highest mountain in the entire mountain range of the TNP, the Julian Alps and Slovenia.
