For travellers looking for a strange and beautiful adventure, this island-hopping adventure will show you the best of the Philippines’ nature, beaches, and cultural life. Roam Bohol’s famous Chocolate Hills (not suitable for consumption), snorkel with massive whale sharks in the clearest of clear blue waters (if the season is right), roam through bustling Manila, chill out in laid-back Siquijor, and soak up the beach vibes of Moalboal. From interacting with local communities to lots of free time built in, this trip is both meaningful and liberating. So go on and feel free.

Itinerary

Day 1Manila
Arrive at any time. Get to know your fellow travellers over dinner and drinks in the popular Poblacion, Makati neighbourhood. Explore the avant garde art galleries and listen to live music. Soak up the culture of this vibrant area and cheers to new adventures and friends.
Day 2Manila/Siquijor
Fly to Dumaguete and transfer to the port to board a boat bound for the mystical island of Siquijor.
Day 3Siquijor
Enjoy free time to explore caves, waterfalls, coral-filled waters, and 106km (65 mi) of white-sand beaches. Snorkelling and diving are both great options here.
Day 4Siquijor/Bohol
Hop on a ferry to the island of Bohol, home to the tiny tarsier primates and beautiful Chocolate Hills formations. Enjoy a stay at a G Adventures supported homestay and learn about local life from the community. Enjoy a homestay at a community tourism project. Please note accommodations here are basic.
Day 5Bohol/Panglao
This morning opt to join your host family as they tend to the farm before helping prepare a barbecue feast for lunch. After lunch together, say good bye to your hosts and head out to explore the famous Chocolate Hills.
Day 6Panglao
Free day to tour the island or go snorkelling.
Day 7Panglao/Moalboal
Board a boat to Cebu then transfer from Cebu to Moalboal. Beautiful beaches and bright, turquoise waters await.
Day 8Moalboal
Jump into a busy underwater wonderland to snorkel surrounded by a school of sardines. Enjoy the rest of the day on the beach.
Day 9Moalboal
Today enjoy canyoneering at the beautiful Kawasan Falls and it's surrounding fresh water streams and pools.
Day 10Moalboal
Depart at any time. Departure transfer included.

What to Take

What you need to bring depends on the trip you have chosen and the countries or regions you are planning to visit. We suggest that you pack as lightly as possible as your are expected to carry your own luggage. As a rule we try not to have to walk more than 15-20 minutes with your bags which is why we recommend keeping the weight of your bags between 10-15kg/22-30lb. Suitcases are not recommended for G Adventures trips! \You will also need a day pack/bag to carry water, cameras and other electronics like iPods and mobile phones. If your trip involves overnights in homestays, villages or camping then you usually have the opportunity to rent sleeping bags if need be instead of bringing them with you. There may be a luggage weight restriction for the internal flight(s) on this tour. Each passenger is allowed a maximum baggage weight of 20kg (44 lb). Additional charges for excess weight may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the passenger.
